pton galaxy r gunna win division 1 nxt season afta a great tournament yesterday

I just wanted to say that Connor, Richard, Jenny and Paige were an absolute joy to work with at the Federation's Centenary Camp on 13th-15th July.

Thanks especially goes to Mozza who was a fantastic leader and a calming influence.

I was trying to find some old photo's of the Adventure Playground but no luck, the only reference I found was here when someone asked if anyone remembered it... I do !!!

I was looking for some photo's so I could show some friends how much fun it was and that somehow it never occured to anyone that it was a potential death trap.. even so it was top fun.. loads of laughs to be had, along with the occasional broken bone.

How times have change, parents never seemed to bat an eyelid when you said you were off to the woods to run around a few planks of wood 30 feet in the air, or swing from trees & ride the pulley's.. after which you would head on down to the 'cow fields' and play on the canal banks.. never did see any cows though !

Can't imagine parents being too impressed by all that these days, but what great fun it was to be a kid in partington..

Does anyone else remember Partington Adventure Playground, in the woods off Oak Road? We had some brilliant times in the '70s, didn't we? Yatchi championships (I still have the trophy, people - anyone fancy challenging me?) and long chats round the fire? Happy days.
